I am in pure heaven right now.
On Tuesday, I started my new job with United Way of the National Capital Area. It's looking like this move was a good one for me, in that I'm learning so much and am having the opportunity to build a program that can do a lot of good for the metropolitan Washington area. But the truth be told, the best part of my week so far has been getting to make friends with...my new laptop.
There's nothing more exciting that getting a new laptop. In my mind, getting a new laptop far exceeds the pleasure one derives from buying a new car. After all, I spend more time on my computer than I do in my car. And I think that my laptop can take me more places than my car.
So thanks to Derrick and Dion at UWNCA--you guys really hooked me up.
